Georgette slept the entire day and woke just as the sun slipped past the horizon out of the window. She shifted in the sumptuous bed and pulled the sheets up to her chin as she curled onto her side.
There was a fire in the fireplace and a tray on the table nearby.
To think this morning she had been charged with making the fires, beds, and bringing trays of tea. That was until the Earl of Hamphordshire walked in.
